Safe & Secure
Protect your site from potential hacks, breaches, and other threats that can bring down your site and get you blacklisted on Google. Websites not being regularly updated is the main cause of hacking. As well as keeping your site plugins, themes, and WordPress Core up to date, we also monitor your website’s uptime (we know the minute your site goes down), and can work to get your site online again. We keep daily backups, so if something happens to your site, we can roll-back to an earlier version. For our premium clients, we also use a tool to visually monitor a section of your homepage. This is great for spotting if something has been corrupted on your site.
Fresh & up to date
As part of their package, our Website Maintenance clients can benefit from a 30-minute strategy call, which can take place on a yearly, quarterly, or 3-monthly basis. We can use these calls to examine your site’s performance, review and explain your reports, and discuss any opportunities for your website, to improve its presence and performance over time. Our packages also include a certain number of retained hours of our time per month. These priority hours can be used for our rapid response to your requests for content updates. If your website content updates are likely to take longer than your allotted time, we can give you an estimate of the time it will take, and do the work at a discounted hourly rate, reserved for our Website Maintenance clients. We also run a link monitor to check for broken links on the website, and we offer our premium clients social media feed integration, to keep your website content fresh and connected to your other marketing channels.
Optimised for search
We use professional on-site SEO software to optimise your content; implementing optimised SEO to page titles, meta data, and descriptions for your main pages. We also provide all our Maintenance clients with Data Dashboards that track performance via Google Analytics and Google Search Console, indicating a website’s best performing keywords and content. We use this information at our regular website reviews to discuss ideas and inform future website strategy. We also run regular performance checks and site audits, and monitor your website’s security plugins, to ensure your site doesn’t fall foul of Google’s strict rules.

What if I don't need Website Hosting?
If you do not need Website Hosting, we can offer a small discount on our monthly or yearly plans. Please do contact us for further information.
Are there any set-up or cancellation fees?
We don’t normally charge a set-up fee and we never charge a cancellation fee. We only charge a set-up fee if the website needs some additional TLC, in order to allow our monitoring tools to work effectively. We would confirm this upfront, so you can decide if you would like to progress, and this fee is capped at £200.
What happens if I pass on your plan?
Before deciding to decline our Maintenance plan, it’s worth considering the potential set-backs that you’ll encounter. Here are the top reasons your website should be maintained:
- Your site will not be optimised, which will lead to poor performance, slow loading times, and a gradual loss of Google SEO rankings.
- Your site’s tools, plugins, themes, and WordPress itself will quickly go out of date, which is the leading cause of website hacks. It’s incredibly important to keep ALL your website tools and plugins up to date.
- You’ll have no backups or restore points, so if your site gets hacked or breached, you could lose all your content, pages, and Google ranking.
- You won’t get a monthly report with details of your site traffic, or page views, etc.
- Most importantly, you won’t have us as your trusted webmaster, to assist you with quick updates, tweaks, or website issues, etc. Often, you’ll have to try getting hold of your hosting company for any assistance instead.
Does my monthly time rollover?
Your monthly time doesn’t rollover, however if you need additional time one month, we offer it as a special reduced rate, reserved for our Maintenance clients.
What if my site gets hacked on the plan?
If your site is compromised whilst you’re on one of our Website Maintenance plans – we’ll take care of finding the hacks or malware, cleaning the website, restoring the site to its former glory, and getting everything squared away with Google, at no extra cost to you. Prevention is better than cure, so we ensure all sites on our Maintenance plans have premium security software, and we urge everyone to create complex web editor passwords and to store those passwords in a secure place, such as LastPass.Â
What if I pass on the plan, and my site gets hacked?
We can take care of getting your site cleaned for an initial clean-up fee of £250. Then we can immediately get your site on our monthly plan, to make sure it remains clean and protected from hacks.
What if I have updates that continue beyond the allotted time in the plan?
We’ll always try to get your updates done within your package, to save you some extra cost. But if you have a decent amount of updates that will require more hours, we’ll give you an estimate of time and charge that at a discounted hourly rate reserved for our Maintenance clients.
How fast can you work on the monthly updates?
We usually pick up website updates within 24-48 hours. As a Maintenance client, you’ll always get priority over clients that aren’t on our plan.
